How it Works: Itraconazole inhibits the production of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. By weakening and damaging these membranes, Itracot kills fungi, effectively clearing fungal infections.
Directions for Use:
- Oral Form: Swallow the tablet whole with water. If on a stomach acid reducer, take with cola and with food to avoid stomach upset. Do not break, crush, or chew.
- Oral Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take on an empty stomach at least 1 or 2 hours before meals.
- Injection Form: Administered as an intravenous (IV) infusion by a doctor or nurse.
- Topical Use: Apply a thin layer on the clean, dry affected area. Avoid contact with eyes.
